This website (Sjob Gateway, the “Site”) is a job site for foreign workers operated by CIC Cooperative. This policy explains what information the Site collects and how it is handled.
1. Information we collect
(1) Access data: for analytics and advertising, we may collect pages viewed, clicks, language, device information and cookies.
(2) Application, enquiry and member data: when you use the application form, the chat or a member account (My Page), we collect the information you enter or submit, such as your name, email, phone number, nationality, residence status, Japanese level, address, CV and documents.
(3) Facebook login: when you use “Fill in with Facebook” or “Log in with Facebook”, we receive only your name, email address and an ID used to link your account. We do not receive your friends list, posts or any other data, and we never post anything to Facebook.
2. How we use it
To introduce jobs, receive and process applications, contact you, coordinate with the employer and support organisation, and improve the Site.
3. Sharing
We share information with the employer you apply to and your assigned registered support organisation, only as needed for selection and work support. We do not share it with any other third party without your consent, except where required by law.
4. Security
Submitted documents are stored encrypted, and only authorised staff can view them.
5. Deleting your data
You can delete your account from My Page or ask CIC Cooperative to delete your data. If you remove the “CIC Sjob” app in your Facebook settings, we also delete the linked member data. Applications already sent may be kept for a period as selection records.
6. Analytics and advertising tools
The Site may use third-party tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads, which collect information through cookies.
7. Cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.

Some jobs link to an external job site (Sjob / cic-sjob.com). Information there is handled under that site’s policy.
